Work from a series where women and their hyperbolized beauty is a cross. A symbol of the Christian (one of the most widespread in the world) religion. The cross divides the canvas into four parts. Each of these parts depicts symbols that characterize the inner spiritual state of these women. The characters have brightly decorated images, like clowns or harlequins, who will make people laugh.

In addition, Lisa used textile materials, and they are perfectly matching the colors in the painting.

The author decorated the central «plane of action» (or «cross») with hands and globes. They symbolize the strange personal world of the characters. «Checkerboard» illustrates a semi-mythical room from a parallel world, and female beings live in it. And who is under the mask? Let the viewer guess.

The palm is like a handprint of the author. Split face personality explosion, splitting. The forest path at the bottom of the painting shows the viewer a world of religion where people do strange things. For example, they wear masks to appear better. They lose the personal traits that distinguish them from others.
