Nataliia Fedoryshyn is a contemporary visual artist whose practice explores themes of identity in a social life. Her works mainly depict a state of human life in the present, exploring the delicate relationship between human, nature and society. She has express a sense of loneliness through the figurative and through the still life. Artist explains her artworks don’t always belong to a single side. Her works fall somewhere in the middle between painting and illustration, she draws inspirations from the human daily life. Artworks have been presented at many exhibitions offline/online in Ukraine and abroad, took part in different private collections internationally, institutional and privately. Nataliia lives and works in her native town Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.
«The main motive of my work is to assess the external and internal situations that surround me. Using various artistic media such as: oil painting on canvas, animation of works, I formed my personal handwriting and manner of writing. Studying at the Lviv Academy of Arts, Department of Sacred Art inspired me to use of different textures. I also combine rough reliefs with open forms, I pierce and connect them with each other. The key to understanding yourself is to recreate your own feelings, memories and lived stories».
